August!!

Happy August people.
It's the first week of August, which means school is about to start again, not that it matters anyways since i'm taking summer school right now, but it means MAJOR traffic and harder time finding parking lol.
I'm actually excited though for the new semester because for the first time in 3 years, I dont have to take a chemistry class!! What a nice break after this stupid ass summer of a class that sucks. 

Anyways haha.
My excitement went up yesterday.  Went to the A's root beer float event yesterday with the bro and my nephews and then i got a package that I was so excited to get with some awesome prizes which will be explained in my other blog rosie-says.blogspot.com

Keeping Busy or..

...staying busy.

Not something that I entirely want to do.  It's always nice to have that small break from things and relax.  Which is what I'm doing this week.  I just had a midterm yesterday (which I think I bombed.. but I always say that) So for now i'm just chilling. 

At work right now deciding what to get my inaanak (godchild) for her birthday.  Trying to see how to budget this.  I dont want to spend too much, yet I don't want to get her something small or one thing only.  It's a toughie.

Also, while I can, I'm going to be creating a flower girl basket for a cousin's wedding.  Only problem is, i have no idea what their color scheme, flower arrangements or what they want on it.  I can make it to my liking, but this basket isn't for me.. so it doesnt matter what I want on it haha.  We'll see what happens, cuz I needa make it this week so I can start studying again if I need to.

Crazy Week...

Last Thursday didn't go as I had hoped.
Before the game, During the game, then After we left... totally in a bad mood.  I nearly killed my newly charged cell by texting people all my rants haha.  Sorry about that folks, but you all know that when i'm frustrated I immediately get on my phone and start texting everyone haha.

Definitely glad to have been with family that night or else I would have been stuck in a bad mood for a LOOOOONG time.  I thought we were going to be there too long and miss ABDC Champs for Charity, but ended up watching it there (then at home, then again the next day haha) and must say, it was A-MA-ZING.  I was first to jump on the couch when it came on and of course the first thing that comes out is "who's the cute one Sanna?!" HAHA.. of course.

We left the house around 11pm and when we walked to the car we saw an SUV with a driver blocking the way... by the time we got to the car, Monta Ellis walked out of his house.. me and my bro got quiet.  It's like... do we say something? do we leave him alone? say hi? what do we do? HAHA.  Just smiled, got in the car and tried to maneuver around the SUV and left.  That was a WOW moment haha.

Anyways, besides that Thurs, nothing special in the past week, just studying and bombing tests.. sucks to be me... roooar!

Can't wait~

I don't know why, but I'm totally psyched about tomorrow!

First baseball game of the REGULAR season.. get myself an A's "Sluggie" (it's a snuggie with an A's logo on it -_-) which I'm going to give up anyways haha, and family party right after.

I know, you're thinking "Party on a Thursday?!" well, it's Chloe's 4-month bday (hehe) and then Auntie's real bday.  So the fam is gonna celebrate with LOTS of food <3 gotta love it haha!

Easter till Now...

Easter Sunday was such a crazy filled day.
Woke up at 7 and got ready for church, but turned out we weren't going to the 8AM mass, but the 9AM mass.
Mass was about 1.5 hours, which was weird since mass was only an hour at 8.. hmm..

Got home, and ate a pancake (yes A pancake.. ONE pancake), and then off to San Ramon with my brother to visit one side of the Pugay fam.  First time I went to my cousins house and boy was it nice.. though you can't expect less from a house in San Ramon haha. 
When we got there, they were finishing up cooking lunch, but me and my bro couldn't eat since we were heading to another party after.  Though we did get to make our own Italian sodas and OMG were they good, but that's coming from someone who couldnt drink soda for 40 days (I'll explain about my lent experience after haha).
Lunch looked good, but too bad couldnt eat any of it.

We stayed about an hour and then headed off to Fremont to a buffet with another side of the Pugay fam.
Been to this buffet several times, and the only thing I can complain about is the slow service.  Getting refills on drinks (or even getting our drinks) and getting our plates picked up were so slow, but other than that, the food is always good enough to keep getting more.
Got to play with my nephews a bit and my goddaughter and then headed back home ASAP Since I had to meet up with my friends for a Karaoke night.  It was raining pretty hard out so my bro drove slower than usual, but still made it back home on time.

D was already waiting for me outside, but Jane was late, even though she was the one that wanted to meet up earlier hahaha
I drove through the rain to Pacific East Mall.. traffic because of an accident, which was wasting even more of our time.. felt bad cuz Jane needed to be back early, so we were rushing as much as possible.
We sang for about an hour, and even after the first song, i was already losing my voice.. WOMP WOMP.

Went home in the rain again and yep, that was my night and the end of my spring break. 

So what have I been doing up till now? studying for my genetics test which I feel like I've bombed....we'll have to wait and see what happens.

So lent right?
I gave up COFFEE. CANDY. SODA. CHOCOLATE for lent.. 40 days of none of that.  I crashed on the chocolate course.  Sister made me eat that red velvet cupcake (which was totally worth it, but i felt bad) on her birthday, but other than that havent had any at all.  Had my first Soda during the party in San Ramon, had my first Chocolate when I got home from church.. THIN MINTS <3.  Havent had candy or coffee yet, but I'm trying not to get into the habit of always having it.

Tahoe Trip and March Madness

Tahoe trip was so much fun! After coming back, the whole week went by so quick that it still felt like i was on vacation.

Saturday's plans had changed after I had written that.  Instead of splitting up, only 3 people ended up boarding while the rest of us were playing in the backyard.  Major snowball fights, a massive man-made snow slide, lots of snowman building and plenty of picture taking going around (come on.. we're so Filipino. Cameras out 24/7 haha).

Our dinner that night was so amazingly awesome! Taco soup, buffalo chicken nachos and sliders! OMG... such goodness all in one night.
I swear, the whole weekend all we did was eat.. but you know what they say.. best memories are over food right?

Every weekend this March I got something going on, so my schedules a bit hectic especially since it's "midterm" season (midterms? i get like 3 of them in a semester per class lol) so when do I have time to study?

Last weekend was Ate's birthday weekend.  Dinner then drinking at a lounge.. i skipped out on drinking (since i dont drink..), but dinner was nice.  Got a private room, food was great, service.... ehhh... not so good.. okay im being nice about it.. it SUCKED =D

This weekend fun was my nephews FIRST birthday <3 gotta love that.  So cute.  We celebrated at Jollibee and I swear, that the MC's voice sounded just like Josh's from HYPE 5-0 haha!
We got to see the big Jollibee too.. HAHA the freakin mascot can blink >< its so scary!

Next weekend got a baptism to go to and the week after is the last weekend of spring break, so im sure im bound to be doing something.

March is only halfway through and its already getting crazy!  I cant wait for spring break to come so i can relax..

I should get back to studying.. =/
