It'll Get Crazier..

From NOW until.... whenever.. it'll just keep getting crazier.

I just finished summer today, but I'm going to be leaving on a trip on Monday to the East Coast.  What sucks is, I haven't had time to plan anything for the trip because I've been busy with school.  I haven't even started my packing list yet.  Even though I have the "Pack This" sheet, I still have to know what I want to bring specifically, not just the quanitities.  Also theres so much planning on where we want to go since we don't know where ANYTHING is we have to jot down addresses and see whats the closest ones around first and go from there.

As much as I want to plan this trip, it's going to be such a busy weekend.  Getting my haircut tomorrow, then seeing American Idol live on Saturday, then a party on Sunday.  We leave Monday morning at 4:30am (or need to get to the airport at that time), so there won't be much extra time to pack.. 
gotta start my list today.. lets just hope I don't get distracted like I always do!

August!!

Happy August people.
It's the first week of August, which means school is about to start again, not that it matters anyways since i'm taking summer school right now, but it means MAJOR traffic and harder time finding parking lol.
I'm actually excited though for the new semester because for the first time in 3 years, I dont have to take a chemistry class!! What a nice break after this stupid ass summer of a class that sucks. 

Anyways haha.
My excitement went up yesterday.  Went to the A's root beer float event yesterday with the bro and my nephews and then i got a package that I was so excited to get with some awesome prizes which will be explained in my other blog rosie-says.blogspot.com

Disappointed

It's 2nd priority registration time for classes and I'm super disappointed.

1st priority I did an excellent job of picking out a schedule to fit for my major:
- Microbiology + lab
- Parasitology

What sucks is that I can't take the parasitology lab because it doesn't fit into my schedule (overlaps with microbio lecture).  That means I have to wait until Fall 2011 to take the class (-_-).

With the 2nd registration, I ended up signing up for 2 crap classes:
- Sex and Relationships
- Race, Gender and Science Fiction

I know.. WTF?!  I'm okay with the ethnic studies class because it's an online course, but the human sexuality class is MWF from 8-9, not to mention that I have only that one class on mondays. I was only taking this class cuz a friend of mine asked me to.. turns out she didn't sign up for it (but it's ok, cuz I did that to her last semester lol), but I need units so that's what I have so far.  Now, I can sign up for other classes, in about 2 hours during the open registration, for something else instead of that human sexuality class, but do i really want to juggle my schedule around right now since the only classes available to fit my schedule are waiting list only?  That's going to be a gamble to drop a class I'm already in for a class to see if I can get added.

My registration classes isnt the only thing that's bothering me.  The fact that this summer course I'm taking right now was just a waste of my summer.  I feel lke I'm about to fail (and trust me, i'm not exaggerating) and I just basically wasted 3 units to drop my GPA lower than it already is.  And I cant retake this course in the Fall because it overlaps with microbio lecture too..

I also took a look at my DARS report.  My calculus grade sticks out like a sore thumb and I can't retake that course on campus anymore.. which means I got to take it during the next summer or take it somewhere else during the semester, which will be harder to do.

I need a break from school shit.  I need that vacation NOW.

Crazy Dream

The other night I had a dream that my street was flooding... FAST!
We were packing up our things or stuff that we needed into one backpack each. 
I remember watching the water levels rise fast through our windows.  It was almost like that scene from Titanic where the captain watched the water surround him and then the glass breaks. 
Well before our windows were completely shaded with water, my mom and aunt knew that we werent going to make it out in time, so they were like "I'm going to shower" (i know wtf?).. and I knew they were doing that because when the water hits, they wont be as scared.

I just know I woke up before the windows broke.
What's scary is, I woke up in the middle of the dream.. and was thinking about it right before I fell back asleep and then the dream continued.. when I woke up for the final time that was right before the glass shattered.

Who's Paying for That?

I have a habit of going on vacation without any money haha.

If I knew I was going to the East Coast, I wouldn't have vacationed in Seattle until next year =/
Sure it was a great trip and definitely worth it, but now i'm broke again and not sure how i'm going to pay for anything...

Keeping Busy or..

...staying busy.

Not something that I entirely want to do.  It's always nice to have that small break from things and relax.  Which is what I'm doing this week.  I just had a midterm yesterday (which I think I bombed.. but I always say that) So for now i'm just chilling. 

At work right now deciding what to get my inaanak (godchild) for her birthday.  Trying to see how to budget this.  I dont want to spend too much, yet I don't want to get her something small or one thing only.  It's a toughie.

Also, while I can, I'm going to be creating a flower girl basket for a cousin's wedding.  Only problem is, i have no idea what their color scheme, flower arrangements or what they want on it.  I can make it to my liking, but this basket isn't for me.. so it doesnt matter what I want on it haha.  We'll see what happens, cuz I needa make it this week so I can start studying again if I need to.
